Average monthly salary in Azerbaijan up over 7%

In January–September 2026, the average monthly nominal salary of employees in Azerbaijan rose by 7.2% year-on-year to 1,173 manats ($690), Report informs, citing the country's State Statistical Committee.

According to the committee, the highest average monthly nominal wages were recorded in the mining industry, financial and insurance activities, information and communications, professional, scientific and technical activities, as well as the transportation and storage sectors.
