Average monthly salary in Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan rises over 5%

In January–July 2026, the average monthly nominal salary in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan amounted to 869 manats ($511.18).

According to Report, citing the State Statistical Committee of Nakhchivan, this figure is 5.3% higher compared to the same period last year.

For comparison, in Azerbaijan overall, the average monthly nominal salary of employees increased by 7.2% year‑on‑year during the first seven months of 2026, reaching 1,177 manats ($692.35). Salaries were highest in the mining industry, finance and insurance, information and communications, professional, scientific and technical activities, as well as transport and warehousing sectors.
