Annual inflation reaches 3% in Azerbaijan

The prices of consumption goods and services rose by 3% in January-March 2020, with food products, drinks, and other products accounting for a 5.2% growth, non-food products for 1.2% growth, and paid services for 1.4% growth, Report informs.
According to the State Statistical Committee, consumption goods went up 1% in March compared to February, 3.3% compared to a year earlier.
In March, the prices of food products, drinks were up 2.2% from February, 6% from 2019. The prices of non-food products respectively increased by 0.2% and 1.2%, while the paid services remained unchanged compared to February and soared 1.2% in comparison to a year earlier.
