Ali Asadov: Inflation expected to be reduced to single-digit level by end of 2023

It is expected that inflation will be reduced to a single-digit level in Azerbaijan by the end of this year, Prime Minister Ali Asadov said at the extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held to discuss the draft state budget and consolidated budget of Azerbaijan for 2024 and the indicators of the consolidated budget for the next three years, as well as the concept of socio-economic development of Azerbaijan and forecast indicators for 2024 and the next three years, Report informs.
According to Asadov achieving this is one of the main tasks that the head of state has set before the government.
Thus, in January-August of this year, inflation in Azerbaijan was recorded at the level of 11.7%.
