Agreement signed to establish Turkic states' accounting and audit regulators union

An agreement to establish the Union of Accounting and Auditing Professional and Regulatory Bodies of the Turkic States has been signed in Baku, Report informs.

The agreement was signed as part of an event marking the 30th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Chamber of Auditors and an international scientific and practical conference titled "Stages of Audit Development: The Road from Compliance to Strategic Partnership and Trust."

The document was signed by Vahid Novruzov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Chamber of Auditors; Hayrettin Kurt, Vice President of Türkiye's Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority; Sapar Koskimbayev, Chairman of the Council of the Chamber of Auditors of Kazakhstan; and Nematulla Karimov, Chairman of Uzbekistan's Council of the Chamber of Auditors.
