54% of transactions on Azerbaijan's Gov't Payment Portal are non-cash

In 2020, the total volume of payments made in Azerbaijan through the Real Time Gross Settlement System (AZIPS), as well as the Low-Value Payments Clearing and Settlement System (LVPCSS), amounted to 223.4 billion manats, and the number of transactions was 59.8 million, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
The Government Payment Portal (GPP) collects payments for more than 800 services. Last year, the total volume of transactions in the GPP amounted to 3.3 billion manats, and 54% of these transactions were non-cash.
The volume of non-cash transactions rose by 22% compared to 2019.
