World oil prices fall 2% after Trump's statement

Global oil prices fell 2% on Tuesday morning after US President Donald Trump announced he was suspending a planned attack on Iran to hold talks to end the conflict in the Middle East, Report informs referring to trading data.
The price of July Brent crude oil futures fell 2.03% from the previous close to $109.82 per barrel, while July WTI futures fell 1.59% to $102.72. Investors are monitoring the global geopolitical situation.
The day before, Trump announced that the United States had planned to launch a military attack on Iran on Tuesday, but at the request of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, postponed it in favor of a possible peace deal.
