Volume of oil production from Absheron field announced

Absheron Field, the second-largest gas-condensate field in the Caspian Sea after Shah Deniz, produced 50,000 tons of oil (condensate) in January 2024, Report informs, citing the operative data of the Ministry of Energy for January 2024.
Azerbaijan produced 2.5 million tons of oil (including condensate) in January 2024 (-0.2 million tons, or 7.41%), with Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli accounting for 1.4 million tons of oil (-0.2 million tons, or 12.5%) and Shah Deniz for 0.4 million tons (including condensate) (the same). SOCAR's oil output amounted to 0.7 million (the same) tons (including condensate).
Production from the Absheron field started in July last year.
