Volume of Kazakh oil pumped through BTC soars 12 times

The Kazakh national operator of the main oil pipeline, KazTransOil, increased oil supplies through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline to 838,000 tons in January-August 2023, Report informs, citing the company.

According to the company, the volume of Kazakh oil supplies via the BTC pipeline in January-August 2022 amounted to 69,000 tons. During the corresponding period over the past year, oil supplies to BTC increased 12 times.

In general, over 8 months of this year, the volume of transportation of Kazakh oil for export from the port of Aktau increased by 54% compared to the same period last year and reached 2.164 million tons.
