UAE says it will support market stability after leaving OPEC

The United Arab Emirates will continue to work closely with its partners and contribute to the stability of global markets, said Afra Al Hameli, director of strategic communications at the UAE Foreign Ministry, Report informs.

She said the UAE would continue to work closely with its partners, deepen bilateral and multilateral cooperation, and contribute to stable, well-functioning markets with greater flexibility and responsiveness.

The UAE will withdraw from OPEC and OPEC+ on May 1, 2026.
