UAE in favor of OPEC+ oil production growth

The UAE remains committed to the OPEC+ alliance and has supported the group’s production growth since August, but it shouldn’t depend on the extension of the overall duration of the agreement, the Emirati Minister of Energy and Industry Suhail Al Mazrouei tweeted, Report informs.
“The UAE remains fully committed to OPEC and OPEC+, and we support an increase in production since August. However, this shouldn’t depend on the extension of the current agreement,” he noted.
The UAE sees a need in the market for further growth in OPEC+ production since August. However, such growth shouldn’t contain any conditions, as was the case in previous months.
