Transit of Russian gas to Slovakia via Ukraine sharply decreases

On the first day of 2022, Russian gas flows from Ukraine to Slovakia via the Velke Kapusany border point, a major route, fell to their lowest volume since November 2, Report informs via Reuters.
Capacity nominations for Saturday (January 1) were down to 524,631 megawatt hours (MWh) from 887,094 MWh on Friday (December 31), data from Slovak pipeline operator Eustream showed.
