Tatarstan invites Azerbaijan to International Electric Power Forum in Kazan

Azerbaijan and Tatarstan (Russia) have discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in the energy sector, including the introduction of new technologies.

According to Azerbaijan's Ministry of Energy, cited by Report, the discussions were held between Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Korobchenko.

During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction with the current level of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Tatarstan. They exchanged views on the development of energy cooperation, the introduction of new technologies, and the application of Tatarstan"s experience in the production of energy equipment.

Korobchenko also invited Azerbaijan's Ministry of Energy delegation to participate in the International Electric Power Forum, which will take place in Kazan next year.
