The expansion of the Trans-Adriatic Gas Pipeline (TAP) could help transport new volumes of hydrogen and other renewable gases in the future, said Ioannis Maris, TAP's Country Representative in Greece, Report informs.
The TAP official noted that the pipeline imported more than 22 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Europe: "We can further support the region's energy efficiency since TAP can double its current capacity."
He emphasized that TAP has already expanded the first level.
Maris said that TAP is committed to contributing to Europe's energy transition.
