Subscriber in Azerbaijan ‘invents’ unusual way to steal natural gas

A subscriber in Azerbaijan has resorted to an unusual way to illegally tap into a gas line, Azerigaz Production Union of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) told Report.

The Production Union employees were shocked by the ‘idea’ of the subscriber.

The subscriber illegally connected a rubber hose to the gas line through a tree branch.

This method of illegal gas hook-up was recorded in Azerbaijan for the first time.
