STAR oil refinery increases production of aviation fuel over 6 times

In June of this year, the STAR refinery (NEZ), an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Turkiye, produced 90,054 tons of kerosene fuel for jet engines, Report informs, citing the Energy Market Regulatory Authority of Turkiye (EPDK).
This is 75,477 tons or 6.2 times more than in June last year.
In total, 472,044 tons of kerosene fuel for jet engines (aircraft) were produced at oil refineries in Turkiye in June, which is 193,952 tons or 1.7 times more than in June 2021.
In June 2021, the STAR refinery produced 553,851 tons of kerosene fuel for jet engines.
