SOCAR to increase oil production in Uzbekistan

SOCAR will increase oil production in Kashkadarya province of Uzbekistan, Report informs citing Uzbek media.

The relevant contract was signed between Uzbekneftgaz and SOCAR's Oil and Gas Research and Design Institute within the 23rd Uzbekistan International Oil & Gas Exhibition (OGU 2019).

According to the document, SOCAR will increase the hydrocarbon production in Western Tashly and Eastern Tashly, Northern Shurtan and Garmistan fields of Uzbekistan.

This is the first project of Uzbekneftgaz with SOCAR.

Cooperation between the two companies will allow increasing hydrocarbon production in Uzbekistan. And this will cause growth in socio-economic development of the Kashkadarya province.
