SOCAR: No accidents on any of our offshore platforms recorded

"Information about the accident on one of the offshore platforms has been spread on social networks," said Ibrahim Ahmadov, deputy head of the Public Relations and Events Department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Report informs.
"Today, no accidents have occurred on any of the offshore platforms operated by SOCAR, and operations continue as normal. Our employees working at sea were not harmed. As a result of our public inquiry, we received preliminary information about an accident at one of the non-SOCAR companies that was collecting old metal at a decommissioned platform near the Sangachal settlement. An employee of the company died as a result of the accident," he added.
