SOCAR leads list of top five companies importing gas to Ukraine

Baku. 20 November. REPORT.AZ/ SOCAR Ukraine Trading House, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Ukraine, imported 144 million cubic meters of gas in July-September 2018, which makes up 4.11% of total gas imported to Ukraine in the third quarter.

Report informs citing the Ukrainian media that Ukraine imported 3.5 billion cubic meters of gas from Europe.

In July-September 2018, private supplying companies supplied 761 million cubic meters of gas to Ukraine, 18.9% of gas supplied by private companies. Among the private companies, the gas was mainly imported by five companies with the list led by SOCAR Ukraine Trading House.

In January-September the traders imported 6.2 bcm of gas to Ukraine.
