SOCAR launches blood donation campaign for children suffering from thalassemia and hemophilia

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has launched a blood donation campaign for children suffering from thalassemia and hemophilia.

Report has learned in the company that as part of the program, For The Sake Of Life Without Thalassemia, initiated by the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, another blood donation action was held in the administrative building of the SOCAR headquarters.

SOCAR employees took an active part in the Donor's Day charity event, held to provide assistance to children suffering from thalassemia and hemophilia.

SOCAR has joined the program since 2009, and every year the company's employees take part in this charity event.

The action, which will be organized in all departments and enterprises of SOCAR, will last until May 2023.
