Minister Shahbazov says electricity production in Azerbaijan up 4%

According to operational data, the production of electricity in Azerbaijan increased by 4% and amounted to 28,988.5 million kWh in 2022, the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov said on Twitter, Report informs.
In January-December, 2,7043.3 million kWh of electricity was produced by thermal power plants and 1,945.2 million kWh of electricity from renewable sources, including water.
According to him, the export of electricity in the country was 3,003.8 million kWh, and the import was 137.1 million kWh.
