"Russia will not supply energy resources to countries that impose price limits," President Vladimir Putin said at the Russian Energy Week forum in Moscow, Report informs.
"Russia will not act contrary to common sense; it will not ensure the well-being of others at its own expense. We will not supply to countries that limit the prices of energy resources," Putin stressed.
Putin said that setting an upper limit on oil prices can be a catalyst for imposing restrictions on the prices of products in other industries.
According to him, in 2022, the natural gas spot price mechanism will cause a loss of approximately 2% of the GDP for the Eurozone, that is, more than $300 billion.
