"During the reporting period, electricity exports amounted to 1.15 billion kilowatt-hours. Work continued on the creation and restoration of electricity generation capacity," he said.
According to Report, Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said at a video conference chaired by President Ilham Aliyev on the results of 2020.
According to him, a total of 1,300 megawatts of power has been restored under the relevant programs, and the construction of the 385-megawatt Gobu power plant and substation is underway.
The Minister said that a new SCADA system is also built: "Relevant work is in progress to build a new thermal power plant with a capacity of up to 550 megawatts by attracting foreign investment."
