Speaking at the 5th Azerbaijani-Turkish Energy Forum in Baku, Shahbazov noted that feasibility and measuring assessments are also underway in Kalbajar for a planned 240-megawatt wind power plant.
He added that discussions are ongoing with Turkish investors regarding potential cooperation on 1,000-megawatt solar power projects in Nakhchivan, while inviting Turkish firms to participate in building energy efficiency initiatives.
Describing Türkiye as Azerbaijan's closest and most reliable ally in clean energy development, Shahbazov emphasized that the energy transition is increasingly tied to digitalization and artificial intelligence.
"In the future, competitive advantage will belong not only to those who produce more energy, but also to countries that effectively manage energy data and use artificial intelligence to create added value," Shahbazov said.
