Türkiye is an important country in terms of natural gas transit to world markets and intends to become a gas hub, Turkish Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmus said at a meeting with Chairman of the Russian Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko on the sidelines of the G20 parliamentary summit.
"We already have good cooperation in the Balkans, in the Black Sea region, in the South Caucasus, but now we need to intensify it even more, especially in the energy sector," said Numan Kurtulmus.
