Over 545 million tons of oil transported through BTC pipeline

To date, over 545 million tons of oil have been transported through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) Main Export Pipeline named after Heydar Aliyev, Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan pipeline, the Ministry of Energy said, Report informs.

The inauguration of the pipeline took place 17 years ago - on July 13, 2006. Its length is 1,768 kilometers: 443 km passes through Azerbaijan, 249 km through Georgia and 1,076 km through Türkiye.
