Over 400 wells drilled at Azeri–Chirag–Gunashli field

More than 400 wells have been drilled to date at the Azeri–Chirag–Gunashli (ACG) oil and gas field, according to data presented at a briefing for journalists held during the exhibition held as part of the Baku Energy Week, Report informs.

It was also noted that over 200 active wells are currently in operation at the field.

Since the start of development, total oil production from ACG has exceeded 4.6 billion barrels.
