Global oil prices fell over 2% following the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the US and Iran, Report informs referring to trading data.
The price of August Brent crude oil futures fell 2.23% from the previous close, to $77.78 per barrel. July WTI crude oil futures fell 2.55% to $74.83.
Markets are assessing geopolitical news regarding the situation in the Middle East. Earlier on Thursday, US President Donald Trump announced that he had signed a memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran, ending the conflict between the two countries.
