Oil exports via BTC increased by 1% in January

In January 2025, the volume of daily oil exports through the main Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline averaged 609,000 barrels, Report informs, citing the OPEC monthly update on oil production.
“Compared to December, the volume of exports via BTC in January remained unchanged at 609,000 barrels per day,” the OPEC said.
Compared to January 2024, the volume of transportation via BTC in the corresponding period of this year increased by 1% or 5,000 barrels per day.
BTC was put into operation on July 13, 2006. Its length is 1,768 km: 443 km passes through the territory of Azerbaijan, 249 km through the territory of Georgia and 1,076 km through the territory of Türkiye.
