Ministry: Baku Energy Week becomes int’l platform that shapes green energy agenda

Baku Energy Week has become a prestigious platform for showcasing achievements in the energy sector, said Jahid Mikayilov, Spokesperson of Azerbaijan’s Energy Ministry, Report informs.

Speaking at a press conference dedicated to Baku Energy Week, Mikayilov stated that Azerbaijan has always been a country that introduces innovations in the energy sector.

"Strategic projects connecting regions in the oil and gas sector have been implemented under Azerbaijan's leadership. Today, our country is determined to build new energy routes that will connect Central Asia with Europe by creating green energy corridors. In this regard, Baku Energy Week, which brings together three major events, has established itself as a prestigious platform for demonstrating achievements in the energy sector," he noted.

Mikayilov added that this international event is a visible manifestation of Azerbaijan's successful steps in the energy sector, signed contracts, and established cooperations: "At the same time, this platform is an important venue where new ideas are put forward for the future, new projects are founded, partnerships are established, and contracts are signed. We thank all partners who contributed to the successful organization of the event."
