Minister: Azerbaijan's energy achievements contribute beyond region

Azerbaijan's achievements in the energy sector contribute not only to its economic prosperity and energy security, but also to a wider region beyond its geographical borders, Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said at a press conference dedicated to the first Azerbaijan-US Economic Dialogue, Report informs.

"We look forward to cooperating with US private sector companies specializing in this field and benefiting from their knowledge and experience, as well as existing tools. These tools have been made possible thanks to the vision put forward by the administration of President Trump. They have identified the development of critical mineral extraction as one of the most important and high-priority areas during their administration. For us, this dialogue has been an important step in strengthening the strategic economic partnership between Azerbaijan and the US. We have a very good and successful example in the energy sector. Today, it contributes not only to Azerbaijan's economic prosperity and energy security, but also to a broader region extending beyond the geographical borders of the region where we live," he said.
