Italy gets more than 45% of Azerbaijan's oil exports

In January-October 2024, Azerbaijan exported 9,303,629.47 tons of crude oil to Italy for over $5.824 billion, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijan's State Customs Committee.

The volume of crude oil exported from Azerbaijan to Italy increased by 0.56% compared to the same period in 2023, while the value decreased by 0.46%.

The share of crude oil supplied from Azerbaijan to Italy in the country's total oil exports was 45.22%.

According to customs declarations in January-October 2024, Azerbaijan exported 20,571,968.71 tons of crude oil and petroleum products obtained from bituminous rocks worth over $12.762 billion.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations worth $39.378 billion with other countries.
