Italy accounts for one-third of oil exports from Azerbaijan

From January through March 2023, Azerbaijan exported over 2.249 million tons of crude oil to Italy for over $1.438 billion, Report informs, citing the country’s State Customs Committee.

In January-March 2023, oil exports from Azerbaijan to Italy decreased by 5.53% in quantitative terms and by 3.44% in value terms compared to the first two months of 2022.

The share of crude oil exported from Azerbaijan to Italy during the reporting period amounted to 33.03% of the country’s total oil exports.
