Georgia's electricity imports from Azerbaijan up 21%

                        From January through July 2021, Georgia imported 505.2 million kWh of electricity from Azerbaijan, 21.2% more than last year, Report mentions, referring to the Georgian Electricity Market Operator (ESCO).
Georgia imported 1,706.5 million kWh of electricity in 1H2021, of which 30% fell to Azerbaijan’s share.
Moreover, Georgia supplied 1,040.1 million kWh of electricity from Russia and 108.1 million kWh from Turkey during the reporting period.
