Georgia reduces electricity supplies from Azerbaijan by 4 times

In January-May this year, Georgia imported 129.1 million kWh of electricity (-3.9 times) from Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the Georgian Electricity System Commercial Operator (ESCO).
In the first five months, Georgia supplied a total of 1,174.1 million kWh of electricity. Azerbaijan accounted for 11% of this volume.
The main electricity supplier to Georgia was Russia (77.2%) with 906.6 million kWh.
During the reporting period, only in January and February, 353.7 million kWh of electricity was transited from Azerbaijan to Turkiye via Georgia.
