Gas pumping via Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline up by 50%

In January 2021, Azerbaijan's main gas pipelines transported 3.549 billion cubic meters of gas, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, this figure is 12.2% more compared to the same period of 2020.
The Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline (South Caucasus gas pipeline) accounted for 45.3% of the total volume of gas pumped through the main gas pipelines.
During the reporting period, slightly over 1.607 billion cubic meters of gas flew via this pipeline - an increase of 50% from the same period last year.
