Gas pumping via Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline up by 41%

In January-July 2021, Azerbaijan's main gas pipelines transported 19.809 billion cubic meters of gas, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, this figure is 11.1 percent more compared to the same period of 2020.
The Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline (South Caucasus gas pipeline) accounted for 49.3 percent of the total volume of gas pumped through the main gas pipelines.
During the reporting period, slightly over 9.7 billion cubic meters of gas flew via this pipeline - an increase of 40.8 percent from the same period last year.
