Gas prices in Europe fall below $1,000 per 1,000 cubic meters

At the opening of trading, gas futures in Europe dropped in price by more than 5% and, for the first time in October, fell below $1,000 per 1,000 cubic meters, according to trading data on ICE Futures, Report informs.
The cost of November gas futures, according to the Dutch TTF index at the beginning of trading, was at the level of $995.5 per 1,000 cubic meters, which is 5.3% lower than the estimated price on October 8.
The dynamics of futures are calculated on the stock exchange based on the settlement price of the previous trading day.
