Gas prices in Europe at the opening of trading on the stock exchange on March 31 fell below $1,300 per 1,000 cubic meters, Report informs referring to the London Stock Exchange ICE.
The price of May futures on the TTF hub in the Netherlands fell to $1,270.5.
In general, the cost of gas has decreased by 8.2% since the beginning of trading.
On March 30, the Cabinet of Ministers of Germany, following telephone conversations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chancellor Olaf Scholz, announced that Russia agreed to accept payments for gas from European partners in euros through Gazprombank, which would convert them into rubles.
