European Parliament wants to stop funding gas projects

The European Union must suspend funding cross-border gas projects from the general budget, said the European Parliament's Committee on Industry, Research, and Energy, Report informs, citing foreign media.
The gas projects will no longer be eligible for EU funding.
Earlier, the European Investment Bank said it would not consider new financial investments in fossil fuel projects from the end of 2021.
