Gas prices with supplies dropped to $290 per 1,000 cubic meters on Thursday at the TTF hub in the Netherlands after reaching the 2.5-year maximum of $342 with the supply on May 17.
Report informs, citing Interfax, that this price is minimal for May 2021.
Prices earlier declined in Asia with the current July futures for Asian LNG - the Platts JKM down to $338 per 1,000 cubic meters from $373 by the results of trading on Friday.
The European market has seen a collapse in its key energy indicator - the prices for carbon gas emission, which dropped from the historic high of over EUR 56 per ton late last week to below EUR 50.
Since the beginning of the year, the average price of the 'one day ahead' contract for TTF has made $248 per 1,000 cubic meters.
