EIA keeps 2025 oil output forecast for Azerbaijan unchanged

The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) has kept Azerbaijan's daily oil production forecast for 2025 unchanged, according to the EIA's September edition of its Short-Term Energy Outlook, Report informs.
Based on the latest data, oil production in Azerbaijan is expected to average 570,000 barrels per day (bpd) in 2025 - the same figure projected in August.
In the third quarter of 2025, production is forecast at 560,000 bpd. This is consistent with the projection made in August for the same period. The same volume - 560,000 bpd - is expected in the fourth quarter of the year.
Oil production in the first quarter of 2024 stood at 600,000 bpd, while it was 590,000 bpd in both the second and third quarters. The fourth quarter of 2024 also saw production return to 600,000 bpd.
According to the EIA, total liquid hydrocarbons production in Azerbaijan in 2024 averaged 600,000 bpd.
