European Commission chief Ursula Von Der Leyen has criticized Gazprom's announcement on complete suspension of gas export to Bulgaria and Poland, calling it 'an attempt to blackmail.'
Report informs, citing Von Der Leyen's Twitter page, that Europe is prepared for such a scenario and is mapping out their coordinated EU response.
"Gazprom's announcement is another attempt by Russia to blackmail us with gas," she said, assuring Europeans that the EU countries will 'stand united and in solidarity' with the Member States impacted.
