Czech company offers modular cogeneration units to Azerbaijani energy market

The Czech company Renewable Solutions Europe (RSE), which participated in the Baku Energy Week for the first time, is interested in offering modular cogeneration units to the Azerbaijani energy market, the company's technical director Anton Paderna told Report.

"We manufacture gas and aggregate units at our production facility in the Czech Republic. Our main area of activity is the provision of complex, modular solutions based on these units. That is, the customer receives not just the unit, but a complete solution delivered in a container with all the equipment, ready for immediate use. Thus, there is no need for a construction process - it is enough to simply bring the unit, connect it and start it up," he said.

Paderna emphasized that Azerbaijan is a potential market for these technologies:

"Oil and gas production in Azerbaijan has developed strongly. Our facilities also include equipment that works with associated gas. This allows the gas that is actually discharged or burned to be converted into electrical energy. Thus, gas-producing enterprises can either produce energy for their own needs or use it for sale."

The company representative added that it is currently the first day of the exhibition and, although there are no concrete proposals, negotiations are planned with several large companies, including contractors implementing large construction projects in Azerbaijan:

"This is our first time participating in an exhibition in Azerbaijan. So far, there is general interest, but no concrete agreements. But we are optimistic about this exhibition and hope to achieve results in the coming days."

Paderna noted that initial contacts have also been established with the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), but no concrete negotiations have been held yet.
