BTC transports 112.8M barrels of oil through Türkiye in seven months

A total of 112.78 million barrels of oil was transported through Türkiye via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline in January-July 2026, Report informs, citing Türkiye's BOTAŞ company.
The figure was 9.98 million barrels, or 8.1%, lower than the volume transported during the first seven months of 2025.
In July alone, 15.85 million barrels of oil were transported through the pipeline, down by 1.101 million barrels, or 6.5%, compared with July 2025.
A total of 206.43 million barrels of oil was transported through the BTC pipeline via Türkiye in 2025.
The BTC pipeline currently mainly carries oil produced at Azerbaijan's Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) field block and condensate produced at the Shah Deniz field.
In addition, other volumes of crude oil and condensate, including oil from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan, are transported through the BTC pipeline.
