BTC pipeline transports 97 million barrels of oil via Türkiye in H1 2026

A total of 96.934 million barrels of oil were transported through Türkiye via the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline in the first half of 2026.

According to Report, citing Türkiye's BOTAŞ company, this figure is 8.874 million barrels, or 8.4%, lower compared with the same period in 2025.

In June alone, 16.398 million barrels of oil were transported through the pipeline, down by 899,000 barrels, or 5.2%, year-on-year.

In 2025, the volume of oil transported through Türkiye via the BTC pipeline amounted to 206.434 million barrels.

The pipeline mainly carries crude oil from the Azeri–Chirag–Gunashli (ACG) field block, condensate from the Shah Deniz field, as well as oil and condensate from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
