BTC oil transportation via Türkiye surpassed 64M tons in 4 months

In January–April 2026, the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline transported 64.013 million barrels of oil through Türkiye, Report informs, citing BOTAS Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAS).
According to the latest data, this is 6.741 million barrels (9.5%) less compared to the same period in 2025.
In April alone, 16.659 million barrels of oil were transported through the BTC, down 1.852 million barrels (10%) year-on-year.
For reference, in 2025, a total of 206.434 million barrels of oil were transported via BTC across Türkiye.
Currently, the BTC pipeline mainly carries oil produced from Azerbaijan's Azeri–Chirag–Gunashli (ACG) block and condensate from the Shah Deniz field. In addition, other crude oil and condensate volumes, including those from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan, are also transported through BTC.
