BTC oil transportation through Turkiye up about 16%

In November 2022, the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline transported 20.42 million barrels of oil through Turkiye, up 2.743 million barrels or 15.5% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the Turkish pipeline operator BOTAS.
In January-November 2022, the BTC pipeline pumped 205.548 million barrels of oil through Turkiye, a rise of 22.913 million barrels or 12.5% from the eleven months of 2021.
The BTC pipeline mainly carries oil from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) block of fields and condensate from Shah Deniz. Moreover, other crude oil and condensate volumes, including oil from Turkmenistan, Russia, and Kazakhstan, are transported through the BTC.
