Global oil prices accelerated their gains to 2.5%, with the price of a barrel of Brent reaching $94.01 for the first time since July 24, according to the trading data, cited by Report.
Later in the session, the price of October Brent futures edged down to $93.93 per barrel.
Meanwhile, October WTI futures rose 2.45% to $86.46 per barrel.
