BP-Azerbaijan reveals plans for drilling new wells at ACG

BP-Azerbaijan plans to drill 24 wells over the next six years from the new Azeri Central East (ACE) production platform at the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) field block, Report informs, citing the company/
In the coming years, additional wells are planned to be drilled and completed from the ACE platform. Specifically, four wells will be drilled annually over six years, the company stated.
In 2024, the first three production wells were drilled from the ACE platform.
As previously reported, the ACE project is the next development phase of the ACG block. The project plans to drill 48 wells in total.
The ACE project aims to achieve peak daily production of up to 100,000 barrels of oil and 350,000 cubic feet of gas through drilling additional wells and installing additional offshore facilities.
The project included construction of a new production and drilling platform with living quarters at a sea depth of 137 meters, located between the Central Azeri and East Azeri platforms.
